Hi There! My name is Brandon White and I have been helping people build healthy relationships for the past 9 years. This specific journey towards helping others began when I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling. Leading up to my own marriage to my wife, Amy, God began to teach me the idea of "Receiving" how to relate to Amy by living within my calling as a husband, seeking to understand what she needed relationally and through coaching couples. In the 9 years I have worked as a marriage coach with Smalley Institute, I have recognized that the attitude of my heart is key to getting and using good tools in our relationships. We get to grow in our communication with each other such as asking questions and seeking to understand each other, being responsible for the environment we help create in our relationship and pursuing an "US" in our decisions.

 

Along the marriage journey, God gave us 4 wonderful, energetic kids (each one ramping up the energy level as they entered the world) and they are teaching me about relationships, how I want to disciple and grow them to be healthy, godly adults. And fascinating how that family system I grew up in for good or bad sneaks it's way into my thinking and reactions to life, exposing fears, hopes and more!
